Katherine Scofield, MSOM, L.Ac.

Katherine holds a Masters in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) from the New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Mineola, NY. She is a NYS and Connecticut Licensed Acupuncturist and Board Certified Chinese Herbalist.

Katherine completed an Acupuncture Fellowship at Beth Israel Hospital where she provided inpatient care throughout the hospital, including Family Medicine, Hospice, Pediatrics, Orthopedic Surgery and Rehab, Oncology, and Psychiatry. Today she maintains her credentialing at Beth Israel and continues to provide treatments on a monthly basis at the hospital.

In her private practice, Katherine uses all modalities of Chinese Medicine, including acupuncture, herbal medicine, eastern nutrition, and lifestyle recommendations to improve her patients’ physical and emotional well-being. She has helped resolve various types of joint and body pain, digestive disorders, urinary difficulties, asthma and allergies, menstrual, fertility and pregnancy symptoms, as well as the treatment of anxiety, insomnia, and stress management.

She has dedicated her practice to sharing the power and wisdom of Chinese Medicine with adults and children, as it has been done in Asia for thousands of years.
